Magda Havas presenting in Victoria on Tuesday evening

This was taken shamelessly from the Scientific Victoria Website. If any one can attend please do, and let me know how it went, sadly, I’ll be at work…

Magda Havas, PhD., will be speaking in Victoria at the Martin Batchelor Gallery (712 Cormorant St) on Tuesday, July 26 from 7 to 8:30 PM. She will be sharing her concerns about smart meters, cell phones, Wi-Fi, etc. The event is supported by the Green Party of BC as part of their efforts to encourage dialogue on a range of topics in the CRD.

Those who are familiar with Havas’ work will know she is a controversial figure. Scientific Victoria disagrees with her views, but we also recognize this is a great opportunity for people in Victoria to listen to someone who is at the centre of the Wi-Fi debate in Canada.
